THANK YOU!

I am grateful to all of you whose financial support, hard work, advice and words of encouragement made my campaign possible. I learned a lot from those of you who shared your concerns on the issues and I hope to use what I have learned to make a real difference in the future.

We may have lost this battle here in the 7th District, but the fight goes on, and I am excited about the opportunity for a new direction in Congress with a Democratic majority. We can and should have hope and expectations for real change, and recognize that the voters will hold the party in power accountable if those expectations are not met.

It was an honor and privilege to represent the concerns of average hard working Americans and I will always cherish the experience. Stay involved, maintain vigilance, and keep up the fight.

On behalf of Beverly and myself, thanks to all.
