As a lifelong Georgian, a small business owner, a husband, father and grandfather, I am deeply concerned about the many challenges we face and the lack of action by our current leadership. Georgia's families and small businesses are facing a tough economic environment with significant job losses and mounting foreclosures, service cut backs, stifling traffic and congestion, uncertainty about our future water supply, and funding cuts that threaten the quality of our schools. 

Serious problems demand competent, thoughtful leaders with common sense and a can-do attitude. I pledge to listen, to learn and to act on the issues that matter most to the people of the district and all of Georgia.
